Yep that’s right! Warsownews‘ very own lokirulez has finally spent enough time on the interview that will bore me and nip to death! FORTY-ONE questions to be answered, with warsownews’ pimp demanding atleast half a page per answer. This will be one fat bible you’ll have to work through, and I’m sure that with the small amount of editting and censorship we’re used to from warsownews the datatransfer of the website will rocket skyhigh too :P.

No but seriously, keep an eye on warsownews for finally some official leaking of features, changes, tweaks and additions, just before 0.3 hits! Consider this a warm-up :P.

Heh, I remember the demopack I downloaded of the Japanese BigLAN #5, the first official LAN to feature War§ow with cashprizes, held in Japan, November 3rd to 5th, 2006. It was the first time the Japanese War§ow scene got in the spotlight, but since, alot has happened! The stability of the community has been proven, with more (online) competitions throughout, the joining of Guwashi to the War§ow Devteam, the occaissional popping up of Japan War§ow Starz fumio and bluespear on the warsow IRC channel.

Now Guwashi shows the development of the game in Japan, and especially the development of skillz, in his latest video “ESW 2007 Season 1 #1 Warsow Frag Movie“. Check it out! Or download it at the Esports Gamers website, the host of the competition this movie has taken it’s frags from!

SNP (the man behind the long awaited First Contact fragmovie) recently wasted precious editting time on this latest project (hah I’m actually kidding about the wasting! :P), a movie showcasing the recently held Raceathon race competition.

It wasn’t quite as smooth as it could have been (iirc we had like 3 proper tries atleast, with towers breaking down all the time, and one proper servercrash ;D). Reminders for next time: cl_maxpackets 30 and rate 3000. Oh yeah, and some way to mute everyone would be nice too :P. I’m not sure on the amount of people we got up finally, but I guess it was around 40. Anyway, enjoy the screens!

For me it’s gonna be meet up at ETRCRIB in ETRDAM with some friends, alcohol and smokies, and head off to the city at around half past midnite (after some alcohol abuse and fireworks a mate is bringing :P). Off to the centre by foot (!) for a nice techno/dnb/dub party in some squatted place. Then party till mondaymohoorning. Aight

I made two new huds for warsow, one is intended for the vidstreams of clanbase’s Fragfest games. It has the bare minimal info which is important for the spectator, and it’s all big-ass so you can see it clearly with the 320*240 videostream. The other is made for the biggest baddest aussie warsowian UT-movement-skillz progamer zkyp, who doesnt want teammates ( )info, ctf or race support and ammo in his HUD. Gotta love him.
